When searching for marriage records an intriguing possibility came up. There was a marriage between a Harry Homer and a Harriet E Curzon in the July to September 1916 marriage index, Belper district Derbyshire, volume 7b page 1226. There is by far too little evidence to assume this Harry Homer is a match. Firstly we don’t know he married. However, if he did it was probably after 1911. Secondly there are many Harry Homers listed in the marriage index. I only mention this as there is supposed to be a connection with the General Curzon in the family tree. The Harry Homer in this family tree would be about 49 at the time. [Note Belper is the same district as Alfred N. H. Curzon (Baron Scarsdale) ] I would list this as unlikely, but wouldn’t rule it out without more research.
