Crusaders

The following is a list of Crusaders from which my family are directly descended. Also shown is their relation to my generation.

While researching some of my ancient ancestors (and those of millions of others) it seemed many of them went on Crusade, so I thought I would start a list. Although you can certainly argue the morality of Crusades, jihad, other holy wars or just wars in general, Crusades were certainly an important part of history. This list is most definately incomplete and will continue to grow.

** indicates more than one crusade
Died in battle, disease or other circumstances while on Crusade
