JAMES, of Forfield Court, Belbroughton. Henry James, of Forfield, son of Edmund James, of Astley, by Anne, daughter of Thomas Ramsay, of Hitcham, Bucks, (and widow of Richard Corbyn, of Hall-end, co. Warwick), married Bridget, daughter of Roger Lyttelton, of Groveley (brother of Sir John Lyttelton, of Frankley), by whom he had issue four daughters, his co-heiresses, viz., Elizabeth, married to Humphrey Perrott, of Bell Hall; Dorothy, married to Henry Greswolde, of Yardley; Anne, married to Thomas Rudyard,* of Rudyard, co. Stafford; and Martha, wife of John Perrott, of Worcestershire. The family of James, of Rowley, in Staffordshire, was descended from Walter James, brother of the above Henry.. -- Arms and crest....
