Third son of John Stanley 1362-1414 and Isabel Lathom 1364-1414, the daughter of Thomas de Lathom and Joan Venables.
Esquire, in right of his wife, of Elford, Staffordshire and Aldford, Alderly and Etchells, Cheshire. King's Esquire, Sheriff of Worcestershire, Leicestershire and Staffordshire. Knight of the Shire for Staffordshire.
He was the husband of Maud Ardene, daughter of heiress of Sir John Ardene and Margaret Pilkington. They had children:
