The church dedicated to St. mary, is a plain structure of stone, with a bell-gable and 2 bells. The interior consists of a nave and chancel, divided by a pointed stone arch; in the chancels a faint trace of the original piscine. The nave contains a mural tablet to the memory of the Rev. Thomas Caddy, who died September 28th, 1847, aged 62, twenty-two years pastor of this parish etc.
