Baptism January 27, 1828 Jemima Chelless, parents Richard and Keron Happuch Chelless, abode Grosvenor Mews, father’s occupation bricklayer.

In the 1841 census there is a Jemima Chelless age 13 listed a student the St. Marylebone Charity School. [St Marylebone Charity School was founded in 1750 and was located at Marylebone Road from 1838 to 1907. It was a girls school only from 1829 until 1933. Its purpose was to instruct cloth and qualify children of poor parishioners to qualify as servants or apprentices.]
