The twenty-first of January, one thousand nine hundred and twenty - three, the undersigned priest, have baptized Donald Edward George, born the fourth, instant, lawful son of Herbert Scrimshaw, stenographer, and Georgina Mills of this parish. 1923 - 2012
Passed away peacefully in Montreal on November 16, 2012 at the age of 89 at St.Mary's Hospital. Donald was a generous and caring soul and will be sorely missed and remembered by his niece Carol, nephews Ian, Andrew, Robbie and his friend Susan. A celebration of his life will be held at Collins, Clarke MacGillivray White Chapel at 5610 Sherbrooke St. West on Wednesday, November 21 at noon. Family and friends will receive your condolences one hour prior to the service which will be followed by the burial at the Mount Royal Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a donation in Donald's name to the SPCA, the Montreal Oral School for the Deaf or the Welcome Hall Mission would be greatly appreciated.
