Thomas Gibbons of Ettingshall, Staffordshire, born at Sedgley 6 September 1655; son and heir apparent of William Gibbons 1 October 1877 and 27 December 1680; married at Sedgley 28 September 1680; post nuptial settlement dated 30 November 1680; buried at Sedgley 12 March 1725-6. Will dated 1 March 1725-6, proved at Lichfield 7 April 1726 by his son Edward Gibbons.

Daur Elizabeth borne the ninth day of March 1683 being midlent Monday about seaven of the clock at night. Witt: Bro: Turton, sister Peak and sister Keeling.

Margaret, daughter of Edward Persehouse of Lower Gornall in the parish of Sedgley; born 16 July 1657; buried at Sedgley 27 January 1732-3. Will dated 5 June 1732 proved in the Manorial Court of Sedgley 29 January 1733.
Also Her father Edward Persehouse, in his will dated 27 December 1682 and proved P.C.C. 30 September 1685 appoints his son-in-law Thomas Gibbons overseer of his will, and leaved his daughter Margaret “only a 20 shilling peece of gold”, having “given her a good portion in marriage.”
