My gr. grandfather was Thomas William Simpson, born 1856 in Long Marton to Richard and Mary Simpson (nee Bellas or Bellasis).
He married
Mary Davidson around 1886, and emmigrated that spring, arriving in Hull, Quebec and settling in Swan Lake. They had 9 kids, only one son survived and had children. He was Thomas b. Dec 10, 1895. He did spend time with his family back in England during the WW1.
