Charles Dudley entered Rugby school at the age of 13 in 1795, matriculated at Oxford from Brasenose (as son of Thomas Dudley, Esq., of Solihull) 24th Jan., 1801, set. 18. A captain in H.M. 22nd Light Infantry. Died unmarried at Java 18th January, 1816, " in the prime of life." See a notice of his death in Gent. Mag., April, 1817, p. 373.
