[Thus she was born in the workhouse. There is no date of discharge. Her mother and next oldest sister were discharged August 20, 1859.]]
The IGI lists Esther Symondson, father Philip Symondson, mother Sarah, born 16 July 1859, christened 17 August 1859, Old Church, Saint Pancras, London.
Parish records Esther Symondson, father Philip Symondson, mother Sarah, born 16 July 1859, christened 17 August 1859, Old Church, Saint Pancras, London. Abode is Workhouse and father has no occupation.
I have been unable to find any other records for Ester after her baptism. So it begs some questions.
1. Did she die while in the workhouse, before her mother and sister were discharged, and omit to record her death?
2. Did the workhouse just omit recording her discharge the same day her mother and sister?
3. Since the next record I can find of her mother is another admittance to St. Pancras workhouse in 1866, it would suggest Ester died before that date.
Conclusion Ester, most likely died before she reached the age of 7.
