Warrenton June 10. Miss Sadie W. Sublett, daughter of Mrs. E. H. Sublett, of this town and Edward C. Thornton son of the late Mayor T. C. Thornton were married here today by the Rev. Edwin S. Hinks. Miss Frances Sublett, sister of the bride was maid of honor and T. C. Thornton, of Washington, brother of the bridegroom, was best man.

Warrenton Virginia, May 24 - Mrs. Edward C. Thornton, 60, died in her home yesterday after an illness of a year. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, at 11 a.m. St James Episcopal Church.
Mrs. Thornton, wife of a retired druggist, was active in church and civic affairs in Warrenton. She is survived by her husband, two sisters Miss Francis Sublett, Arlington, and Mrs. Elise Deare, Staunton, and one brother John Sublett, of Toronto Canada.
