Ernest C. Fugler VALLEJO - Funeral services were held today at the Wiggins Funeral Home for Ernest C. Fugler, 83, 1901 Illinois St., who died Friday after: a brief illness. He was a native c of Falmouth, England. and came to the United States when he was less than a year old.He was raised in Weatherford, Tex., and had resided in Vallejo since 1916. He worked at Mare Island Naval Shipyard as a machinist and became stores officer in the supply department prior to his retirement with 27 years service. He was a police court clerk from 1951 until the late 1950's, He was a 50-year member of Silver Star Chapter 3 Order of Eastern Star, and Naval Lodge 87 F&AM and had served as : a master. He was also a member of the Solano Chapter 16 NARCE. Mr. Fugler is survived by his widow, the former, Amy Deare of Napa; a daughter, Mrs. Alma Archer, Vallejo; and two sisters, Mrs. Carrie Jones, and Mrs. Nellie Bernhardi, both of Fort Worth, Tex. Also surviving are two grandaughters and two great -grandchildren. Inurnment was in Tulocay Cemetery..
