10 June 1870, The Will of George Deare, formerly a Lieutenant-Colonel in Her Majesty’s 21 Regiment of Fusiliers and of the United Service Club but late of 6 Springfield-crescent St. Helier’s in the Island of Jersey Esquire deceased who died 27 March 1870 at 6 Springfield-crescent aforesaid was proved at the Principal Registry by the oath of Robert Elphinstone Deare a Captain in Her Majesty’s 74th Regiment of Highlanders now stationed at Dover in the County of Kent the Nephew one of the Executors. Effects under 3000 pounds.
