Robert Gibson Knox born August 8 1807, baptism September 13 1807, Calcutta, Bengal, father Robert Know, mother Margaret.
In the name of God Amen I Robert Gibson Knox being in sound and disposing memory do make publish and declare this my last will and testament in manner following that is to say I will that all my just debts and funeral charges be paid by my executors hereinafter named.
Secondly I leave and bequeath the whole of my property real and personal to my dearly beloved sister Ann Jones of the town of Calcutta with the exception of five hundred rupees which I leave and bequeath to [Sargeant] Thomas Daunt and his wife Margaret of the town of Calcutta and I nominate and appoint George Chisholm Esq and Thomas Daunt of the town of Calcutta executors to this my last will and testament and I hereby revoke all other and former will and testament and Deeds of gift by me at any time heretofore made and I do ordain and ratify these presents to stand and be for and as my only last will and testament in witness whereof I have to this my last will and testament set my hand and seal this 24th day of March in the year of Christ one thousand eight hundred and twenty nine.
