Benjamin Homer was born in Boston May 8, 1698. He removed to Yarmouth, Mass., where he bought a house and farm, which house was standing about the year 1850, and was still a good one. It was two stories high and at the time it was built must have been one of the best houses in the town. He married there, Elizabeth Crowe or Crowell, daughter of John Crowe and Bethia Sears ... Mr. Homer died in Yarmouth, October 24, 1776, age 78.
