Farnboro’s Deaths
Mr. J. M. Hammond
Mr. Jarvis Marshall Hammond, who died last Thursday at his daughter’s home at Woodley, had been employed by Simonds Brewers Ltd. for 53 years. He came to Farnborough 62 years ago. After 30 years he went to Reading where he took charge of the firm’s business with the Army until he retired, aged 69. He was a member of the North Camp Masonic Lodge, Cremation took place on Wednesday at Reading. Mr. Hammond leaves a widow, tow daughters and three sons.
