Carol Ann Scrimshaw
Suddenly in her 76th year on August 2, 2021.
Born in Essex England and immigrated to Canada at the age of 2, Carol Ann spent a good part of her childhood in Schefferville, St. Rose, and various places Quebec, then she spent her adult life in Montreal.
Survived by her brothers: Ian, Andy and Rob; her daughters: Lee-Ann, Vicki, and Debbie; and her granddaughters: Donna, Kelly, Hannah, Hailey and Samantha; also by her previous husband Donald (father of her children). Predeceased by her cherished parents Tony and Olga and her Uncle Don.
Remembered for her quick wit, infectious laugh, and her love of dogs and flowers.
In her younger years, she enjoyed crocheting, playing darts, cribbage, crossword puzzles and card games. She was active in her church, community and her children’s activities. More recently she enjoyed word puzzles, games on her tablet, bingo, helping to set-up for activities and she was head of the residents’ committee.
Special thanks to the staff and volunteers at St. Andrew’s Residence who were like her second family.
Memorial gathering on August 14th at Kane and Fetterly 1 – 4 pm. (Eulogy by the Chaplin at approximately 1:30pm).
Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Scrimshaw Carol Ann 2021..
