Notes for El Cid Prince Of Valencia
Actual name was Rodrigo Diaz de Vivar. The Moors called him El Cid, the Lord, and the Christians, El Comprador, the Champion.
Castilian nobleman and military leader in Spain.

He probably died as a result of the famine and deprivations when the Almoravids (Berber dynasty of Morocco.) besieged the city of Valencia.
