Obituary
OGDEN Lesly Regina (nee Snelgrove), born in New Westminster. B.C., March 11, 1923, longtime Victoria resident. Peacefully, Lesly passed away (August 15. 1997) in Hospice. R.J.H. after a courageous battle with cancer. Cheerful and encouraging to all who knew her, Lesly sadly leaves to mourn her loving family: husband of 46 years, Walter; son, Kenneth (Kathy); daughter, Michele and grandson, Christopher. Predeceased by her brother, Dix; Lesly will be fondly remembered by brother, Geoff; many nieces and nephews; as well as a host of good friends who will miss her conversation and humour. Thank you to Dr.s' McMurtrie and Bertoia and all the Hospice Palliative Care staff who provided tremendous support at home and in hospital. No funeral service or flowers by request cremation through McCall's. Donations may be made in Lesly's name to the Hospice Unit, 1900 Fort St., Victoria, B.C. V8R 1 J8 or charity of choice.
