Elizabeth (given as Elisabeth on her grave marker) Boeckel (became Beckel in 1800's) was the fourth of eight known children of John Nicol (Nicholaus?) Boeckel (1741-1822) and Maria Barbara Moll (1744-1825), who married 15 Jan 1764 at Heidelberg, Berks County, Pennsylvania. Some records list Elizabeth Boeckel as Anna Elizabeth Boeckel.

Elizabeth first married to Daniel Hauser (1775-1814) on 01 Apr 1799 at Stokes (now Forsyth) County, North Carolina. Elizabeth and Daniel were the parents of seven known children, namely:

1. Maria Elisabeth Hauser Reich (1800-1872)

3. Christian Thomas Hauser (1803-1872)

The two children with unknown death dates (Jonathan and Jacob) both moved to Indiana where it is assumed they died.

After Daniel died, Elizabeth remarried to Johannes Shore (1764-1844), on 10 Feb 1818 at Surry County, North Carolina. Elizabeth and Johannes were the parents of one known child, namely:

8. Isaac Shore (1820-1864)
