Joseph Carl Dazley 69, passed away October 25, 1993 at his home in Kearns after a valiant battle with cancer.
Born October 6, 1924 in Twin Falls, Idaho to Albert E. and Clara Ann Taylor. He married Ruth Jensen July 14, 1942 in Salt Lake City, Utah, later divorced. He married Gayle Buxton June 21, 1969 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Member of LDS Church, Army veteran World War II. Loved the outdoors. He was a good father, loved by his wife, children and all who knew him.
Surviving are his wife Gayle of Kearns, children: Joseph L.; Jonette Boekweg both of West Jordan; Gary M. of Sandy; Duff C. of Salt Lake City; Pamela E. Webb; Wayne C. both of West Valley; Joann Smith of Draper; Carol Keele of Tempe, Ariz.; Deron A.; Candace; Bethinee K., all of Kearns. 31 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren. Brother, Albert E. of Salt Lake City; Sisters, Clara Jacobsen; Ida Evans both of Portland, Oregon. Preceded in death by parents and two sisters.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, Oct. 27, 1993 11 a.m. at the Kearns 24 LDS Ward, 5905 So. 4000 West. Friends my call Tuesday 6-8 p.m. at Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 South Redwood Road, and one hour prior to services at the church. Interment, Redwood Mem. Estates.
