DEATHS
GEARY, Gordon William.
After a courageous battle, on August 31, 1990, at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in his sixty-sixth year. Beloved husband of Margaretta, dear father of Linda (David Gillette) and John (Louise Dufort). Loving grandfather of Julie, Kristy and the future little one. Dear brother of Florence (Jimmy Laing) and will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.

The marriage of Margaretta, daughter of the late Mr. And Mrs. William Ledger, of Verdun, to Mr. Gordon Geary, of Ville Emard, took place recently at St. Aidan’s Church, Ville Emard, the Rev. Harwood Jones officiating. Mrs. Harwood Jones played the wedding music, and Mr. And Mrs. John Grant sang during the service. Yellow and white pompoms were used to decorate.
The bride who was given away by her brother, Mr. Kenneth Ledger, was in a gown of pink embroidered nylon over taffeta, with a fitted bodice, having a stand-up collar . . .
Miss Elanor Ledger, as maid of honour . . .
Mr. James Laing acted as best man . . .
Following the reception, Mr. And Mrs. Geary left by motor for the United States, the bride travelling in a navy blue suit . . .
