Herbert Charles Vickers Death
Herbert Charles Vickers was married to BERTHA STYLES in 1902. He was the butcher for the Co-Op at the bottom of Pioneer Ave in Burton Latimer. They had 3 children. In 1911 Herbert had an accident at work. He was carrying a side of beef on his back through the shop when he slipped and fell, and was badly "ruptured and injured" which killed him. I don’t know how long after he was injured that he died. Then my grandmother Bertha married again to William Ayres and had my father Joseph Ayres in 1918.
