John (Jack) Cope Sudbury, 78, made his transition April 2, 1993.
Born January 1, 1915 to Ruben Clement and Della Cope Sudbury. He will be remembered for his loquacious manner, his wit and charm and the inspiration and encouragement he lavished on his children and grandchildren.
He loved many and many loved him for the numerous gifts he gave from his heart.
He is survived by his wife, Bernice Haigh Sudbury; daughter, Carol Priestley; son, Alan Sudbury; 11 grandchildren, one great-grandchild; sisters, Leah Beckstead and Peggy Greenwood; brothers, Paul C. Sudbury and Don C. Sudbury. He is preceded in death by a brother, two sisters, parents and a son, Reid C.
Graveside services will be held Monday, April 5, 1993, 2 p.m. at Mountain View Memorial Estates, 3115
