I have not positively identified this photo, but I believe it is John Keelinge Deakin when he was with the South African Constabulary from 1903 to 1910.

This plaque is placed in St Michael’s Church at Cofton Hackett. The inscription reads as follows.

In memory of John Keelinge Deakin, South African Infantry. Killed in action near Ypres Belgium Sep 20 1917 aged 39 for King, Country and Justice. Elder son of Rev. K. A. Deakin Vicar of this parish 1881 to 1916.
