Personal Estate 2052 pounds 7 shillings.

Mr. R. W. Rutter. The late Mr. Richard Woodd Rutter, solicitor, formerly of Wolverhampton, who died at Shanklin, in the Isle of Wight, on the 31 ult. [1844], in the forty-first year of age, was the eldest son of John Simpson Rutter, of The Cedars, Richmond, Surrey, formerly of Wolverhampton, solicitor, by his marriage with Harriette Elizabeth, daughter of the Rev. George Hilder Betterton Gabert, vicar of Claverley, Shropshire. He was born at Wolverhampton in the year 1844, was educated at Rugby, and admitted a solicitor in Michaelmas Term 1866. He was appointed in 1872, on the resignation of his father, clerk to the trustees of Wolverhampton Grammar School. Mr. Rutter married in 1868, Elizabeth Homer, daughter of John Bickerton Deakin, of Wolverhampton, solicitor. The remains of the deceased gentleman were interred at Shanklin.
