LOWES MOOSE JAW (Staff) -Funeral service for Steven Lowes, 72, of 'Tugaske was held in Tugaske recently. Born in England, Mr. Lowes moved to Manitoba in 1904 and operated a farm in the Tugaske area from 1906 until retiring to the town in 1956. He is survived by his wife, Dolley; two sons, George of Calgary and Lawrence of Nanton, Alta.; three daughters, Mrs. Edith Auckland of Rosetown, Mrs. Margaret Posnik of Prince Albert [Prince George?] and Loretta Lowes of Edmonton; three brothers; five sisters, and 20 grandchildren.
