Daughter (presumably of Annie Smith) Edith Smith age 5 born in Manchester. All children were born in Manchester.

I can’t find Maurice Ogden in the 1911 census. Some reasons for this are
1) He was not recorded, this does happen.
2) He was recorded, but the transcription was incorrect.
3) He was not in England or Wales.
It should be noted while Ogden is a common name, Maurice Ogden is not. There are only 3 Maurice Ogdens in the 1901 census, of which he is one. There are 4 in the 1911 census, however they could not possibly be him as they are all born in other locations and at home living with their parents, not Jarvis and Elizabeth Ogden.
If the case 3 is correct, he may have been out of the country with the army. This would not be surprising as his father had served in the army in India. Also his oldest surviving brother joined the Manchester Regiment in 1905 at the age of 20, served in India and transferred to the reserve in 1910. Could Maurice have joined the army a few years later? I did find 2 Maurice Ogdens in the WWI records, they were the other 2 Maurice Ogdens in the 1901 census. One was Killed in action and the other was born in 1896. It now seems less likely this case is correct.
