Biographical notes adapted from The Peerage.com Robert Devereux Capell was born on 11 January 1909.
He was the son of Colonel Algernon Essex Capell (1869-1952) and Lois Ethel Slatter (died 1944).
He married Audrie Clare Lightening, daughter of Charles Stratton Lightening, in 1931. She married, secondly, Rodger Ferguson in 1937.
He died on 23 September 1936 at age 27.
