William Gibbons of Ettingshall, Staffordshire, and afterwards of Accleton in the parish of Worfield, co. Salop., was party with his father Thomas Gibbons to a fine relating to lands in Tipton 33 Elizabeth (1590-1); obtained lands in Ettingshall and Sedgley by fine 39 Elizabeth (1597); commission dated 12 February 1630-1, was fined for Knighthood Charles I; buried at Worfield 22 June 1643. Will dated 28 March 19 Charles I. (1643) proved at Lichfield 15 October 1647. Party to settlement 31 October 20 Jac. I. (1622)
