Baptism St. Dustan and All Saints, Stepney, Tower Hamlets, Middlesex.
Baptism July 29, 1739, Amey Stagg daughter of Jno. Stagg of Rat[cliffe] cooper, and Sarah, 25 days old.
[This would make her 18 years old when she was married and 19 when her first child was born] [Also her future husband being from Ratcliffe would also seem to agree. ]

Age 64, the wife of Mr. Francis Walton of Horsely-down.
[The age would be out by 6 years][I now think this is unlikely, as there is a Francis Walton of Horsly Down who apprenticed as a blacksmith, then practiced as a blacksmith, not a mariner.]

Banns of Marriage between Francis Walton and Amy Stagg were published on the 6th 13th & 20th Days of November in the year of 1757. The said Francis Walton of this Parish Batchelor [as spelled] and Amy Staggs of this parish spinster were Married in this Church by Banns this Twenty Ninth [or is it Sixth] Day of December in the Year One Thousand Seven Hundred and fifty seven by me John Tong Curate. This Marriage was solemnized between Us Francis Walton, Amy Stagg In the Presence of James Wheldon?; Jno Howard.
[Note although the Curate gave her name as Staggs, Amy signed her name as Stagg.]
