The registration district was Southam. There are 2 other Howkins families in Harbury. They are John Howkins and William Howkins both Agricultural labourers, age about 25 and their families.

In the 1851 census there is a
Henry Howkins age 14, born in Warwick living at the Rectory, Wareham, Salisbury, Dorset. His relation to the head is pupil.
The head is Samuel R. Capel, rector of Wareham, age 49, born at Stroud Gloster. Samuel’s family, other pupils and others are also listed. This is a possible match.

In the October to December 1882 death index Henry Howkins, age 47, Plympton St. Mary district, Devon, volume 5b, page 154.
