In the 1916 census of Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba 23 2 West of the 3rd Meridian, Huron Municipality, Saskatchewan. [This census district includes the villages of Tugaske and Bridgeford. Since there are several pages all with the same land location, presumably this is Tugaske or Bridgeford]

LOWES Mr.
Charles Raymond Lowes of Stony Beach, passed away at his home on Tuesday, March 7, 1995 at the age of 80 years. Born in the Tugaske District in 1914. He farmed in various locations in Southern, Saskatchewan. In 1941 he moved to Guelph, Ontario, where he worked as a carpenter. In 1964 he moved to Kamloops, British Columbia and in 1974 to Belle Plaine, Saskatchewan.
In 1983 he moved to Stony Beach where he has resided until his passing. Charles enjoyed collecting all types of antiques and fishing. He always enjoyed getting together with his friends to play cards. He was predeceased by his wife: Alexandra in 1984, one daughter: Dawn In 1970. Four brothers and four sisters.
He is survived by one son: John (Elaine) Lowes of Guelph, Ontario, Three daughters: Jean (Bob) McLean of Kamloops, B.C., Betty Maltby of Missassauga, Ontario, Carole (Hans) Lowes of Toronto. Special companion: Mariorie Meriam of Stony Beach, three sisters: Ruby (Bob) Morrow of Regina; Ethel Tufte of Swift Current; Olive Lewry of Moose Jaw. Six grandchildren; Kirk (Carole) Maltby of Aylmer, Ontario; Ward (Anna) Maltby of Toronto; Paul (Jodie) Maltby of Burlington, Ontario; Debbie (lain) Seal of Grande Prairie, Alberta; Lori (George) Bali of Edmonton; Sherri Lowes of Guelph, Ontario. Seven great grandchildren. Numerous nieces and nephews.
The Funeral Service will be held in the W. J. Jones and Son Funeral Chapel on Saturday, March 11, 1995 at 1:30 p.m. Reverend Ted Brifffett will officiate.

LOWES Mrs. Alexandra Lowes, of Belle Plaine. passed away in Moose Jaw, Tuesday. December 11.1984, at the age of 75 years. Born at Rouleau in 1909 she moved to Guelph, Ontario in 1941, to Kamloops, B.C. in 1964 and back to Moose Jaw, in 1974. She moved to Belle Plaine in 1976, where she operated an antique store. Predeceased by one daughter; Dawn, in 1970. two sisters: Annie Shopa and Katherine Boivin. She is survived by her husband Charles, Belle Plaine, one son; John and wife Elaine Lowes, Guelph, three daughters: Mrs. Bob (Jean) McLean, Kamloops, Mrs. Betty Maltbv, Mississauga. Ontario, Miss Carole Lowes. Toronto, six grandchildren: Kirk, Ward, Paul. Debbie. Lori and Sherri, two brothers Adam Malik, Chaplin, Stanley Semenchuk, Edmonton. The memorial funeral service will be held Friday, December 14. at 2:00 p.m. in the WJ. Jones and Son Funeral Chapel. Rev. Ruth Taylor will officiate. Cremation at Prairie Memorial Crematorium.
