A Joseph Henry Lowe compiled a notebook in November and December 1905 from Adel churchyard near Leeds and St Mary Magdalene, East Keswick. I assume it was this Joseph Henry Lowe, as the only other family member of that name that I am aware was 7 years old at the time. If my assumption is correct, he must have done this just before immigrating to Canada.

Emigrated to Canada 1905. 22 [is this correct?]

Departed Liverpool, arrived Montreal, Quebec on the Tunisian May 12, 1906, Joseph H. Lowe, age 41, came from Yorkshire, destination not visible as the corner of the page is turned up.
