Martha Ellen Hauser was the fifth of eight known children of Henry John Hauser (1836-1924) and his first known wife, Katherine "Katy" Fiscus (1836-1870), who married 21 Jan 1856 at Owen County, Indiana. After Katy died, Henry remarried to Margaret E. White (c1838-p1882) on 19 Jan 1879 at Owen County, Indiana and had three additional known children.
Martha married Winslow Baxter Emmons (1855-1913) on 19 Nov 1881 at Shelby County, Iowa. They had nine known children, namely:
