Betty lived her entire life in Nanton, Alberta. She worked at the Nanton hotel for years and then become the head custodian at A.B. Daley School, until her retirement in 1997. She enjoyed many years travelling with her family after her retirement, either camping or cruising. Also, she enjoyed working in her yard at her home, until she moved into Silver Willow Lodge. She was very active in almost all activities and enjoyed her coffee time with fellow residents at the lodge. She also was the life of the party at the Kozy Korner.
