Leonard William Claxton was a civilian casualty of WW2
Leonard was born in Southwark the son of Leonard James and Lilian Alice Claxton (nee Clayton).
Sadly Leonard and his mother Lilian of Peabody Buildings Bermondsey perished in an enemy air attack at nearby Llewellyn Street and were laid to rest together at NUNHEAD CEMETERY on the 30th September 1940.
At the time of his passing Leonard was just 8 years of age.
