Hilda passed away peacefully at St. Mary's Hospital on Saturday, aged 90.
Predeceased by her husband Bill Brockett. Survived by her children, Bonnie Brockett, Beverley Foreman, Bryan Brockett (Mary), Brenda Ertel (Darrell) and Barbara Castro, as well as her sons-in-law Jeff and Rafael.
Grandma of Jay (Megan), Sherry (Ed), Lindsey (Armando), Nicholas (Melanie), Eric (Erin) and Lukas.
Great-grandma of Jayda, Avry, Aydrian, Tatiana, Celesté and Cruz.
Also predeceased by her siblings, Cathy, Jimmy and Donny.
Hilda will be missed by many relatives and friends. She was loved by anyone whose life she touched...... a very sweet lady.
She was a longtime Member of Rebekah Lodge and Highland Road United Church. She was a current member of Trinity United Church, and on the Executive of the Waterloo United Church Women (UCW) Presbyterial for many years, as a very loyal and contributing member.
Hilda's family received relatives and friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 and from 10-10:45 a.m. on Thursday, July 7, 2016 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Funeral Service was in the Chapel on Thursday, July 7, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. A reception followed.
