Provincial Archives of Saskatchewan search for homesteads indicates David Charles Mason filed on the NW quarter, section 18, township 7, range 8, West of the 2nd meridian. It does not give a date. It states it as final, so I presume this indicates he completed the requirements and was given ownership of the quarter.
