Sarah Ann Gibson Eliza Jones

This image is taken from pendant. It belonged to Annie Gibson Henry Deakin (nee Howkins). Possibly it had belonged previously to Marion Gibson, Annie'’s mother. Marion was a half sister to Sarah'’s mother Margaret, however Marion and Sarah were only a year or two apart in age and both were in lived in Calcutta when they were young. Possibly they may been childhood friends.
Note the almost identical hairstyle in the two images.
There is some speculation that this image is of a younger Sarah. If so the image on the reverse image would most likely be of Sarah'’s half brother Robert G. Knox. Another possibility is that this is Marion'’s older sister Ann Gibson and the reverse would be Marion'’s brother Robert Gibson.
